Mmm trail mix; your mix of fruit and nuts is nutterly delicious, so much so that you never last long in our household. The sweet stickiness and the satisfying crunch mean we can’t keep our hands out the nut jar.

This recipe is super easy and much healthier than shop bought versions that often contain added sugar and preservatives such as sulphur dioxide. Watch the video for proof.
1 cup nuts (I used 1/4 cup almonds, 1/4 cup cashews, 1/4 cup pistachios & 1/4 cup pecans)
6 tbsp dried fruit (i used 2 tbsp currants, 2 tbsp, cherries, 2 tbsp apricots)
2 tbsp desiccated coconut/coconut chips
1 heaped tbsp honey/syrup (plus extra for drizzling)
1 tsp cinnamon (plus extra for dusting)
coconut oil for the baking tray
